True Disc Golf (Nintendo Switch) / Re: Welcome to True Disc Golf Forum

I'm so looking forward to this game becoming available on Nintendo Switch! I can't wait to play it!  ;)

You don't have a better estimate on release date than "in 2021", do you? Do we have to wait until Christmas, or can we look forward to play this game sooner?

Keep up the good work!

Thanks

I don't know how long it takes to make the game ready. There is still work to do with few courses and multiplayer.

I hope this comment will not be drowned by russian ads..

Hi there this is Ekki from Germany. I found your Forum because I was looking for a game that could replace Wii Sports Resort Frisbeegolf. A game wich my friend and I play regularly about once a week. (-21 and -23 respectively). While it is still fantastic in its core there could be many improvements. BTW I have to mention that I've never played real disc golf but have thrown Frisbees for the last 40 Years. The MOST important thing is that you can use motion controllers to throw the discs. Any other control methode is too far away from the real thing and, being 50+ we are not to keen on any other form on controller because it might tax our dexterity too much. We often wished while playing an 18 hole round that the wind would be more consistent, we wished that we had more courses, we hoped for better textures. After all the game was made for Wii.

So if you might be interested what Players who've spend the last ten years playing this game would like here are my points:

- Motion Control, we need to be able to control pitch, tilt, angular momentum, direction and release point (just to name a few) with the motion controller
- more than 18 Holes
- preferrably some kind of Course Editor
- within this Editor control over Wind Speed and direction (in Frisbee Golf on the Wii the Wind randomly changes. So one hole could be 10m Winds with the next one 0. I think that is highly unrealistic)
- maybe some kind of vintage mode where you don't need to hit the basket but a column much like FG on the Wii

The Graphics seem to be absolutely on par (forgive the pun) so there is no need for improvement. Maybe some rain now and then. Oh and an instant replay button would be great so you could record it and brag.

Have I mentioned Multiplayer capability??

I am very much a Fan of what you are doing and cant wait until its release

Keep at it!!

Thank you for the message.

True Disc Golf has motion control. I will try to make it as realistic as possible.
It will have multiplayer.
It will not have course editor.
Wind will propably be random though it would be interesting and realistic if it would stay same for the whole round. I don’t like the idea that someone would have to restart the round many times to get the right wind to play good round for leaderboard.
